On of about 04/11/22, I was shocked to discover that WordPerfect had ended the free trial but didn't restore my WordPerfect 8 word processor nor my 14 years of legal files from my law practice.
Consequently, I ended up filing my legal documents late after trying to apply the new 2021 system to the facts in my case. He also stated that my legal files would be returned to me when the trial ended if I didn't purchase the product. I was shocked when I was told that he couldn't end the trial and that it would end automatically in a short period of time but I couldn't expedite the closing date.
After a few weeks, I telephoned WordPerfect and asked them to end my free trial because the 2021 system was unstable and too difficult to use in drafting my legal documents. WordPerfect required access to my WordPerfect files to begin the free trial. On or about 03/11/22, I requested a "free trial" for the new WordPerfect's 2021 Office that was being publicly offered because my WordPerfect 8 was at least 4 years old. Some of my WordPerfect Office word processing systems included WordPerfect Office X8, X7, X5, X4. For the past 20 years, I have been using WordPerfect Office systems as my word-processor of choice without any problems.
